Cookie Policy

In short: the public BlackRent website does not use cookies. That is why we do not show you a cookie banner. Below we explain the only two situations in which cookies are involved.

This is a translation of the Romanian original (Politica cookies). If the two versions differ, the Romanian version prevails.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files that a website can save in your browser, for example to remember a login or to track visits for statistics or advertising.

2. The public website uses no cookies

  • we set no cookies for visitors or customers;
  • we use no third-party analytics (such as Google Analytics), no advertising and no tracking pixels;
  • our server only counts, in aggregate, how many visits come from each source (for example Google, Instagram or a link on a flyer) — with no cookies, no IP address and no identifier; the source travels in the page address (for example ?utm_source=instagram), not in your browser;
  • fonts are hosted on our own server, so your browser makes no requests to Google or any other font provider;
  • we store nothing else in your browser.

3. The admin area

The only cookie we use is a strictly necessary session cookie in the private admin area of the website (/admin), used only by BlackRent staff to log in. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent (Article 4(6) of Romanian Law No. 506/2004).

4. Paying through Stripe

When you pay, you are redirected to Stripe’s payment page (checkout.stripe.com). That page belongs to Stripe and may use its own cookies, for example for payment security and fraud prevention, under the Stripe Cookies Policy. We do not control those cookies.

5. Why there is no cookie banner

Consent is needed only for cookies that are not strictly necessary, such as statistics or advertising cookies. Our public website uses no such cookies, so there is nothing to ask you for. If we ever introduce cookies that require your consent, we will ask for it first and update this page.

6. Browser controls

You can view and delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.
